Accommodation is privately owned or contracted from the complex administrators, for whom Apartments Tenerife acts as official agents.
The accommodation is on a self-catering basis and all the apartments are serviced via a management company or Reception.
A contract exists when the deposit or final balance is paid (whichever comes first) after which these booking conditions come into force.
The deposit is to be paid at the time of booking and the Final Balance must be paid as per the date on your Booking Confirmation. If you have chosen to pay in full at the time of your Booking our Booking Conditions come into force immediately.
Any client wishing to cancel after the deposit or final balance has been paid will forfeit monies already paid to Apartments Tenerife.
Apartments Tenerife accepts MasterCard/Debit Card, cheque by return, or a bank transfer into the Business Account of Apartments Tenerife with HSBC Bank.
Apartments Tenerife are members of Worldpay and are authorised to accept card payments.
Prior to the commencement of your holiday, you may wish to amend your booking with regard to the accommodation or Arrival/Departure date. Apartments Tenerife will assist you in any way possible to suit your requirements, however, we do reserve the right, if this is not possible, to treat such changes as a cancellation and monies paid are consequently forfeited. However, should Apartments Tenerife be able to confirm any of these changes, and the appropriate revised rental price is agreed by both parties, an administration fee will also be payable.
Apartments Tenerife is a well-established company with over 30 years in the travel industry and our reputation has been built up by fulfilling our obligation regarding your accommodation. However, circumstances beyond our control may make it necessary to alter accommodation arrangements before your date of travel. Whilst this is extremely rare, if there must be a change to your accommodation, Apartments Tenerife will advise you immediately of the problem and you will be allocated alternative accommodation within the same complex.
Neither Apartments Tenerife, its designated Management Services, or any representative abroad, accept any liability for loss, damage, or additional expenses of any kind, caused by war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, or explosion however caused, volcanic eruption, sickness, bad or good weather and the effects of such accident (whether incurred inside or outside the apartment or apartment complexes), acts of any government authority or public authority, such as gas, electric and water boards and any other event which is totally beyond our control or under circumstances amounting to force majeure, theft and/or Acts of God.
If a change or cancellation occurs because of circumstances beyond our control eg curtailment of travel, adverse weather conditions, flood, epidemic, or pandemic illness we will have no liability to you. No compensation costs, expenses, or any other sums, including the cost of securing alternative accommodation will be paid by us.
It should be noted that ALL clients are obliged to take out their own Travel Insurance to cover their flights and accommodation.
Any cancellation through unavoidable causes such as illness or simply not wishing to travel or any of those mentioned in the paragraph above should be covered by the client’s own Travel Insurance. Apartments Tenerife is not liable for any cancellations and all monies paid to Apartments Tenerife will be forfeited.
Apartments Tenerife has taken steps to provide their clients with a competent Management Service during their stay. These services include the agreed cleaning of the apartment.
An Emergency Telephone Number for these Services is supplied before the holiday.
Entry to the accommodation will not be available until at least 14.00hrs on the Arrival date.
Apartments Tenerife cannot be held responsible for accommodation not properly cleaned or prepared for the client’s arrival prior to this time.
Vacation time for the accommodation will be no later than 10.00hrs (am) on the day of departure.
NB: We can discuss before you travel what time you are likely to arrive and, of course, all will be done to oblige an early entry time, and likewise on your departure day, but this can only be arranged if the times fall in line with our management services on that day.
It is a condition of booking that only the number of persons on the booking form occupancy (On the booking confirmation) stay in the apartment.
Apartments Tenerife cannot be held responsible for any clients evicted if this condition is not observed.
Apartments Tenerife reserve the right in the absolute discretion of our designated management services and ourselves to terminate without notice, the accommodation reservation of any client or clients whose behaviour is likely to cause distress, damage, annoyance, or danger to our cleaners or any third party.
